How to Use the Fabrixly-IDS Admin Console

Overview

The Fabrixly-IDS Admin Console is a React-based UI that lets you manage your identity server! Built with React, Vite, Ant Design, and TanStack Query! Access it at https://ids.fabrixly.com/admin (or your Fabrixly-IDS URL)!

Access Admin Console

• URL: https://ids.fabrixly.com/admin
• Login with your admin user credentials!

Admin Console Features

Dashboard

The dashboard shows you:

• Summary stats (users, organizations, clients)
• Recent activity
• Quick links to common tasks

User Management

**View, create, edit, delete, and disable users!

• Go to Users in the sidebar
• Click Create User to add a new user
• Edit existing users
• Verify emails/phone numbers
• Reset passwords
• Disable/enable users

Organization Management (Multi-Tenant)

For multi-tenant mode:

• Go to Organizations in the sidebar
• Create/edit organizations
• Manage organization settings
• Manage organization admins and users
• Manage organization-level roles

Client Management

Manage OIDC clients!

• Go to Clients in the sidebar
• Create new OIDC clients
• Edit client settings:
  • Redirect URIs
  • Response types
  • Grant types
  • Authentication mode (password/otp/password+otp/flexible)
  • Enable mobile login
  • OTP delivery method
  • Require consent
  • Etc.

Role Management

Manage RBAC roles!

• Go to Roles in the sidebar
• Create/edit roles
• Assign permissions to roles
• Assign roles to users

Team Management

Manage teams (if using team-based access control:

• Go to Teams in the sidebar
• Create/edit teams
• Add/remove team members
• Assign team roles

Audit Logs

View audit logs of all actions!

• Go to Audit Logs in the sidebar
• Filter logs by date, user, action type, etc.
• Export logs (if enabled)

Email/SMS Templates

Customize email and SMS templates!

• Go to Settings → Templates
• Edit OTP emails/SMS templates
• Edit welcome emails
• Etc.

Custom Branding

Customize Fabrixly-IDS look and feel!

• Go to Settings → Branding
• Upload logo
• Set primary colors
• Customize login page text
• Etc.

Plans & Licensing

Manage plans and licenses (if using licensing portal integration)!

• Go to Plans in the sidebar
• Create/edit plans
• Assign plans to organizations
• View license status

Session Management

View and manage user sessions!

• Go to Sessions in the sidebar
• View active sessions
• Revoke sessions (log users out)

Analytics

View analytics and reports!

• Go to Analytics in the sidebar
• View login stats
• View active users
• View popular clients, etc.

Example: Create Your First Client

Let's walk through creating your first OIDC client!

1. Log in to Admin Console
2. Go to Clients
3. Click Create Client
4. Fill in the form:
   • Client name: "My Test App"
   • Redirect URIs: http://localhost:3001/callback
   • Response types: code
   • Grant types: authorization_code, refresh_token
   • Token endpoint auth method: client_secret_basic
   • Auth mode: flexible
5. Click Save
6. Copy your Client ID and Client Secret (you'll need these for your app!)

Example: Create a New User

1. Go to Users
2. Click Create User
3. Fill in user's email, name, etc.
4. Set password
5. (Optional) Verify email
6. Click Save

Customize Admin Console

You can customize the Admin Console (if you have the source code)!

Security Best Practices for Admin Console

1. Only give admin access only to trusted users!
2. Use HTTPS always!
3. Enable 2FA for admin users!
4. Regularly review audit logs!
5. Keep Admin Console access restricted to trusted networks!

Troubleshooting Admin Console

• "Can't log in to Admin Console": Check admin credentials, ensure user is admin!
• "Changes not saving": Check browser console for errors!
• "Page not loading": Check Fabrixly-IDS server is running!
